Tamyra Brown
Director of Academics and Administrator
We’re thrilled to welcome Mrs. Brown aboard as our Director of Academics and Administrator. Her journey in education is nothing short of inspiring, beginning at The Boys and Girls Club of Murfreesboro and culminating in a wealth of experience and expertise.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and Speech Communication, complemented by a minor in Performance Dance from Middle Tennessee State University, Mrs. Brown has dedicated herself to nurturing young minds. Her commitment led her to earn a Master’s in Education in Administration and Supervision from Trevecca University and Strayer University, further enriching her ability to guide both students and fellow educators.
From teaching abroad in Ghana, Africa, to founding a three-star Christian preschool program in Nolensville, TN, Mrs. Brown’s journey exemplifies a deep-seated passion for education and community enrichment. Her dedication to children and families shines through in every endeavor.
Outside the classroom, Mrs. Brown finds joy in traveling with loved ones, volunteering with local organizations, dancing, shopping, and diving into a good book. She is the proud wife of Scotty Brown and loving mother to five remarkable girls.
We can’t wait for Mrs. Brown to bring her energy and expertise to our school community.

Scotty Brown
Director of Athletics
With a stellar background in football, basketball, baseball, and track, Scotty’s passion for athletics is unparalleled. From high school championships to a standout career at Middle Tennessee State University, Scotty brings a wealth of experience and leadership to our team.
Scotty received a full athletic and academic scholarship to Middle Tennessee State University. Scotty was a starting freshman defensive linebacker. His football career led him to have several accomplishments, such as being a Sunbelt champion. Scotty continues to hold the school record for the most tackles in one single game. He majored in Physical education with a minor in business from MTSU.
Beyond his athletic achievements, Scotty is a dedicated entrepreneur, community advocate, and family man. We’re thrilled to have him on board to inspire and guide our student-athletes to success both on and off the field.

Robin Vickers
Kindergarten Teacher
With a deep love for the Lord and a passion for teaching, Mrs. Vickers brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our community. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.
Originally from California, she has successfully owned and operated an early childhood education center and has taught at several Christian schools.
Mrs. Vickers is committed to making a positive impact on each child, believing that teaching is both a gift and a ministry. She’s known for her caring, compassionate, and patient nature, dedicated to helping her students achieve their full potential.
When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband Robert of 17 years and their five children, as well as traveling, writing, and reading. She has also co-founded a Christian women’s ministry and planted Way Truth Life Church in Murfreesboro.

Kelley Gagnon
1st-2nd Grade Teacher
Kelley brings 17 years of experience educating young minds to RCA. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Southwestern Bible College in Phoenix, AZ.
Kelley’s love for teaching is evident in her dedication to her students. She has a unique gift for helping students learn and feel accepted, something she’s felt called to since fourth grade. She takes great joy in seeing her students’ eyes light up when they grasp new concepts.
Outside the classroom, Kelley enjoys crafting, organizing, hiking, reading, and taking in the beauty of God’s creation. She cherishes spending time with her family and is active in her church, New Vision.
Born in California, raised in Arizona, and now a proud Tennessean since 2011, Kelley brings a wealth of experience and a heart full of passion to our community.

Daisha Sanders
Art Teacher
Daisha, a Smyrna native, holds a Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and is the founder of Kids as Creatives, a mobile arts and crafts studio dedicated to inspiring and nurturing creativity in children.
Daisha’s passion for working with youth and her love for various creative avenues led her to start Kids as Creatives. Her favorite creative outlets include DIY projects, crafting, and content creation. In her free time, Daisha enjoys staying active and spending time with her family, including her 3-year-old daughter.

Megan Austin
Graphic Design Instructor
Megan brings a wealth of creativity and professional experience to the classroom as our graphic design instructor.
As the founder and creative director of Monday Morning Creative Studio, Megan has lent her talent to renowned brands like Marriott, Arby’s, and Walmart, shaping their visual identities with her unique perspective. With a passion for crafting designs that resonate on both local and global scales, Megan’s expertise is sure to inspire our students to reach new heights in their creative endeavors.
Megan’s educational background is just as impressive, with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from MTSU, complemented by minors in Photography, Art History, and Business Administration. This comprehensive foundation equips her with a deep understanding of the artistic, historical, and practical aspects of design.
Throughout her career, Megan has not only honed her craft but also dedicated herself to sharing her knowledge with others. Whether leading instructional courses or conducting personalized coaching sessions, she finds immense joy in empowering aspiring designers to unleash their creativity and realize their artistic aspirations.
